Walmartopia, the musical that critics called "campy, caustic, and comically irresistible."

Madison Magazine dubbed show creators Andrew Rohn and Catherine Capellaro “a hip Rodgers and Hammerstein.”

Walmartopia sold out its first run in Madison, and audiences demanded a return engagement. In 2006 Walmartopia caused a sensation at the New York International Fringe Festival nda was invited back for the Fringe Encore Series.

The irreverent send-up of big business and eternal smiley faces was called “genuine Fringe fun” by the Village Voice, and “not to be missed” by NewYorkTheater.com.

Walmartopia was most recently produced at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York where it received a rich production: superb cast, rollicking music, and smashing visuals. Walmartopia. Always.
